David Keen came out with one of his allegedly unintended innuendoes, when he proffered the advice that we should "aim for the middle of the fuzz." Sounds like reasonably good advice for life in general I would have thought.
In order to try and minimise the problem of the uncertainty due to the on-screen fuziness, Paul did a complete set of measurements across the range, then I did one too, and we took a simple arithmetic mean. With luck we should be okay between us. Just about to go for coffee.
