Pretty happy

8.22pm. Just sat and finished the calculations for the Compton scattering lab. I calculated that from our twenty degree offset, our x-zero figure for 137-Caesium came out at a peak of 4.51±0.08, which equates to an energy level of 605 ± 10 keV.

I went in search of Jimena. She wasn't in the bar, but I was told that she was in the library, helping with the course choice session. There were quite a few people in there, but I got seen very quickly.

Jimena was very happy with this result, as the exact figure for twenty degrees is apparently 613, which is within our own margin of error (our range is 595-615). I am glad that I kept my promise and finished the calculations.

I thanked her very much for a really interesting day, and said that I'd taken a lot away from the day, it's been really good.
