Oscillations on a theme

6.45pm. Had a good afternoon with the oscillations lab. After a morning of things not wholly making sense, things just seemed to fall into place. I had a bit of a 'eureka' moment too, when working out an expression for the period of electrical oscillation, which I felt quite clever about. It's not every day that you can spontaneously write down an equation like this:


Got back to the room and had a nice chat with Alan, before heading out for dinner. Found out that dinner will be delayed until about 7 tonight, not sure why, but it sounds like Grey have cocked something up. Never mind.

Went to the OU office to get a replacement for my name badge, which fell out of the cracked holder somewhere in the last couple of days. The last thing I want is to find myself challenged to prove that I am entitled to be on the premises!

Afterwards I ran into Paul loitering with intent, and we chatted and joked about all sorts of things. I have loads of good things to look up on YouTube now. I'm currently in the queue for dinner, and Paul is staring at pretty ladies. There are very few nice looking men here, but it's not the same being unable to point them out to Alan!
