Well I have no idea how I managed to get the wrong end of this particular stick, but it turns out that I will not need my lab coat next week, or in fact any lab coat, as they are not required.
I am sure I remember being told that you had to bring one for level two and three residential schools. Short of exploring some sort of physicist fetish, I have no idea when I will get to wear it again. I didn't have it made solely for my own amusement!
