12.04pm. It's official, I'm in 'The North'. Not best pleased to discover that the train doesn't in fact have wifi on it. Just as well I brought my dongle with me, but this doesn't work well between stations, and the connection frequently drops out. If I were prime minister (in better financial climates) I would pay for a national network of low speed broadband towers all over the country, so that people had
free access to wifi all over the UK. It's rapidly becoming a necessity to be connected.
