First breakfast

8.26am. Cold showers appears to be a common complaint at breakfast this morning, and not just on my floor, but the whole of my building. I hope that something is done. Cold showers give me a headache.

It is unhelpful that the doors to the dining hall don't open until 8am for breakfast, and that labs then start at 9am. I don't see why they can't be ready at 7am. I certainly was.

Today's lab is electrical oscillations, which should culminate tomorrow in the building of a radio. I like this experiment, and I hope it appears in the TMA, but I have a sinking feeling that it won't. Carol and Anne-Katrin appear to be the tutors for this lab, the latter is German and scary.
