11.04am. Had a very good morning session in the oscillation lab. Found a very strong resonance frequency in the circuit, got a strong peak, and again when the resistor was put in.
Once all the remaining components were put into place (how you are meant to tell the difference between the capacitors I have no idea), I couldn't get the radio to work. Carol checked it, and recommended that I redo a couple of solders. After this, the radio was working, and I am pretty sure I could hear a man from Yorkshire man complaining. This clearly had to be cricket. I tried but couldn't get the capacitor for Long Wave to work properly, but never mind. Can't win everything. I got all the theory, which is good.
