Booking 'holiday'

I booked the time off from work for SXR207 today. It's not exactly a holiday - actually it's nothing like a holiday; my experiences at SXR103 tell me that I will be working very very hard for a week and I will end up exhilarated but exhausted.

My intention is to attend the summer school at the last week offered, which will be week commencing Saturday 1 August 2010. Although I have a place reserved, registration doesn't open until 16 October 2009, but since I want to go on a particular week, I need to get in early.

I will need to seriously swot up between now and August next year, as I don't have the time, energy or space in my degree studies to do S207, which is the course that it compliments. However, these residential courses are designed to stand alone.

A bit nearer the time I will look into train times to get there and back. Aat least the journey is faster now than when I did my M101 summer school at Durham, that took bloody hours.
