I rang the OU today, for my daily telephone conversation with them to see if there were any vacancies on the 30th July week. There weren't. Interestingly, all of the weeks are now full. But the lady I spoke to said something different that those before her haven't; she suggested that I speak to the Residential Schools team.

I did this, and they offered to put me onto a waiting list. Yes, that would presumably be the very same waiting list whose mere existence has been denied at least six times by the OU.

Apparently, if someone drops out of 30th July then my booking will automatically change, and I'll get an email. I just have to hope that this happens quickly. But this is progress at least.
