The course website for SXR207 is distinctly minimalist. It seems to be a running theme for level 2 residential schools; there is nothing on there that I do not have in printed form, which is a bit of a shame. There is also no FirstClass forum, just one of these stupid web-based Moodle forums, which I hate. I will try and play nice with others and make some postings, but I just don't like Moodle.
The only good thing about it is that you can 'subscribe' to the forum so that you get an email when there is a new message. I suppose it saves the bother of having to log on to check whether there have been any new posts, and as they are emailed out to you, there is a permanent record of the messages.
Plus I have my OU FirstClass account set up in such a way that it emails a copy of any incoming messages to my mobile, so I can cast a quick eye over them that way too.
Lastly, I see that this blog has a follower, which is pretty amazing, aside from when I did SXR103 and my other half became a follower so that he could be informed when I'd made a new posting, I've never had a fan before. Hello John!
